2025.02.28 Spatio-Temporal Conditional Diffusion Model for Forecasting Future Multiple Sclerosis Lesion Masks Conditioned on Treatments
LMID Workshop, held in conjunction with the 28th International Conference on Medical Image Computing and Computer Assisted Intervention (MICCAI), 2025
We present the first treatment-aware spatio-temporal diffusion model that predicts future Multiple Sclerosis lesion evolution from multi-modal patient data, demonstrating accurate forecasting and clinically relevant applications across diverse treatments.

2025.02.06 Conditional Diffusion Models are Medical Image Classifiers that Provide Explainability and Uncertainty for Free
International Conference on Medical Imaging with Deep Learning (MIDL), 2025
We explore class-conditional diffusion models for 2D medical image classification, introduce a majority voting scheme and demonstrate their competitive, explainable, and uncertainty-aware performance on CheXpert and ISIC datasets.

2025.01.22 Beyond FVD: Enhanced Evaluation Metrics for Video Generation Quality
International Conference on Learning Representations (ICLR), 2025
We propose JEDi, the JEPA Embedding Distance. Our experiments on multiple open-source datasets show clear evidence that it is a superior alternative to the widely used FVD metric for generated video quality, requiring only 16% of the samples to reach its steady value, while increasing alignment with human evaluation by 34%, on average.
